Mildred Rosenberg served in the Israel Medical Corps from 1948 to 1951 and was stationed at Military Hospital No. 5 (Tel Litvinsky, now Tel Hashomer). There she organized the physical therapy department, and due to her resourcefulness, organizational ability and intelligence, this department became known as one of the best of its kind. Everybody at Tel Hashomer knew Mildred.
In 1951 she returned to the U.S.A. and was active in several civic programs. She took part in the relief project for Ethiopian Jews and frequently commuted between the U.S.A., Ethiopia and Israel.
