MACHAL’S YOM HAZICHARON SERVICE
ON WEDNESDAY, 11TH MAY, 2016
We shall be meeting at the World Machal Memorial to honour the memory of our 123 Fallen Comrades. We look forward to seeing you, your friends and your relatives at this service.
This year we hope to be joined by many current Machalniks and those who have already finished their Machal service.
THE SERVICE WILL COMMENCE AT 10.55 HOURS SHARP!
You may like to enjoy a picnic lunch with comrades and friends in the picnic area of Sha’ar Hagai after the service, in which case please bring you own picnic lunch.
In order to cover expenses for the facilities of the service, Machalniks and friends who will be attending the service are requested to make a donation to Machal of NS50 per person (adults only) . Payments should be made only in cash at the cashier’s table at the ceremony. Please be sure to have the exact amount of NS 50 available as finding the right amount of change may be a problem.
MACHALNIKS POST 1966
The Lone Soldiers Center is compiling lists of past Machalniks, from 1965 to date. If you have names, postal addresses, and email addresses for past volunteers, and details of when and where they served (if available) please notify Doreen of the World Machal office.
THE MACHAL BADGE – The Machal badge is available at a cost of NS25.00.
VICTORY AND FIGHTER MEDALS (ALEH AND OT HAKOMEMIYUT) – If any Machalniks have not yet received the Fighter and/or Victory medal ribbons, please contact Doreen at Smoky Simon’s office (03-621-2724 or doreen@sw.co.il).
