A large group of new olim, brought to Israel under the auspices of Nefesh B’Nefesh, visited the Machal Memorial in the Yitzhak Rabin Forest at Sha’ar Hagai on September 24, 2013. There they met with American Machalniks Zipporah Porath and Harold Katz who shared with them inspiring personal stories and experiences as volunteers in Israel’s War of Independence.
